There are three Emulator X products available: Upgrade, Add-on and Retail. Please take a moment and find the category that best describes you to determine the appropriate Emulator X product.

1. You already own Emulator X version 1.0 or higher.
   You need the Emulator X2 upgrade which is exclusively sold direct by E-MU.You can purchase it online. This software upgrade is on CD-ROM (not downloadable) and you must have the original copy of your Emulator X Software/Manual Installation CD-ROM to properly install your X2 upgrade.
   
       
   
   
2. You own an E-MU desktop product but not Emulator X, including all E-MU Xboard USB/MIDI Controllers, Xmidi 2x2 USB/MIDI Interface, USB Audio Interfaces and PCI/CardBus Digital Audio Systems.
   You need the Emulator X2 add-on, which is exclusively sold direct by E-MU. You can purchase this add-on online. This software upgrade is on CD-ROM (not downloadable) and you must have one of the products listed above installed in your PC for Emulator X2 to run.
   
       
   
   
3. You do not own Emulator X or any of the E-MU products listed above.
   You need the Emulator X2 Retail channel product available at your local E-MU dealer.
